WHO WE ARE
Who We Are
Ruangwa Social Economic Empowerment Organization is a Non-Governmental Organization that makes deliberate efforts to promote and strengthen the participation of the citizens of Ruangwa District in the use of resources and economic opportunities within Ruangwa District. This organization is registered as a Non-Governmental Organization with registration number 00NGO/R/2789 under the Law of Non-Governmental Organizations, Law No. 24 of 2002 and its amendments. This organization is part of the continuation of the implementation of the national policy of economic empowerment of citizens coordinated by the National Council of economic empowerment of citizens (NEEC) under the Office of the Prime Minister. The implementation of this policy is done through the public sector and the private sector, and it is done to citizens of all levels. Also, the methods and strategies that are used during its implementation depend very much on the type of resources and economic opportunities that exist within the relevant community, as well as history, traditions and the customs of that community.
