SOCIAL ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT

Ruangwa Social Economic Empowerment Organization (RSEEO), has provided a SCHOLARSHIP for one local youth from our District (Ruangwa), to go to Arusha City Tanzania to receive special training related to FINANCE, namely "Financial Education". The training, which is provided by the Bank Of Tanzania (BOT) for two weeks, officially begins today, Monday, 17 February 2025. After graduating from the training, graduates will receive special certificates as "Certified Financial Educators", which will enable them to provide "FINANCIAL EDUCATION" Nationally and Internationally. This education is very important for us, especially in this period when our District (Ruangwa), is undergoing major economic REVOLUTIONS.

RSEEO MADE A SPECIAL VISIT TO THE LAKE ZONE REGIONS

Ruangwa Social Economic Empowerment Organization (RSEEO), has completed a five-day special visit (3 - 7 February 2025) to the lake zone regions of Kagera, Geita, Mwanza and Shinyanga region. The main goal of the visit was to learn and build capacity on various issues, especially related to mining such as how mining is done from exploration to production, the implementation of the local content policy, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), as well as the requirements and qualifications required for supplier companies and service providers so that they can get tenders to provide services in mining areas. This visit is particularly important, at this time when Ruangwa District is entering into large-scale mining. "Ruangwa Local Content, is our Key".

OUR ENVIRONMENT, OUR LIFE

Ruangwa Social Economic Empowerment Organization (RSEEO), has given funding to two local youths from Ruangwa District to receive a seven-day training on the Environment, especially Afforestation and Reafforestation, in Lindi town. These trainings are very important, especially at this time when Ruangwa is entering a large-scale mining operation that will greatly affect our environment. Recognizing that, our Organization (RSEEO) is taking early steps to deal with those effects.

EMPOWERING YOUTHS AND WOMEN IN LAND TENURE, LAND MANAGEMENT AND PROPER LAND UTILIZATION

Today, January 21, 2025, Ruangwa Social Economic Empowerment Organization (RSEEO), has started giving a special two-day seminar to 11 citizens from South Matambarale Village, who are beneficiaries of the Land program run by our Organization. This seminar is held at the RSEEO Offices and is about Tanzanian Land Act, The importance of having Land ownership certificates (HATIMILIKI), Proper Land Utilization, and Financial Management. Others who attended including Mr. Peter Hanjay, Ruangwa District Land Officer and Mr Haji Ismaili Makotha, Ruangwa District Urban Planning Officer. This program is sustainable for all 90 villages within Ruangwa District. The first phase covers 19 villages, at a cost of 184 million Tanzanian Shillings.

RUANGWA LOCAL CONTENT IMPROVEMENT UNDER PROGRESS

Today, January 20, 2025, our Organization (RSEEO), has held a special meeting with four (4) local youths from within our District (Ruangwa), who are going to the second and final phase of training in the Heavy Duty Equipment Operations, VETA Shinyanga with funding of our Organization, after graduating the first phase of their training VETA Mtwara. The meeting was also attended by the parents of those youths from the villages of South Matambarale, Mchichili (Mandawa) and Nachingwea (Ruangwa town). This session has been held at the Offices of our Organization (RSEEO) as a final preparation to prepare them before starting training on 10 February 2025, VETA Shinyanga. Dear members and stakeholders of RSEEO, we are ending the year 2024, our District, our Region, and our country, being safe, calm and peaceful. The security, peace and stability of our nation, is the main driver of the increase and growth of economic activities and economy in the country since independence (1961). These are the FRUITS of the strong foundations of freedom, unity and solidarity, built by the founders of this Nation, led by the Father of the Nation, Mwalimu Julius Kambarage Nyerere and his team. EMPOWERING YOUTHS AND WOMEN IN LAND TENURE AND PROPER LAND UTILIZATION IN RUANGWA DISTRICT, LINDI

Ruangwa Social Economic Empowerment Organization (RSEEO) has officially started the implementation of Empowering Youths and Women in Land Tenure, Management and Proper land Utilization Program in Ruangwa District, Lindi Region. The program, whose implementation has started in October 2024, will be implemented in phases, where the first phase involves 19 villages and will benefit 475 youths and women. This was stated on December 8, 2024 by the Chairman of the Organization, Mr Tawfiq Namulya when he was giving information to the public about the official start of the Program under the Organization.

RUANGWA LOCAL CONTENT IMPROVEMENT

Four local youths from Ruangwa District who have been sponsored by our Organization (RSEEO) to receive special training in Heavy Duty Equipment Operations, VETA Mtwara and later VETA Shinyanga, are progressing well with the training. Those words were expressed by Nasra Sungura when she was talking to the Chairman of the Organization on behalf of her colleagues. "Chairman, we are all healthy, and we are progressing well with our studies. We also promise you that we will do well in our training here at VETA Mtwara, and also when we will be at VETA Shinyanga". Said Nasra Sungura.

RSEEO HAS PARTICIPATED IN TRAINING OF EXTRACTIVE INDUSTRY AGAINST CLIMATE CHANGE

The executive chairman of Ruangwa Social Economic Empowerment Organization (RSEEO) Mr Tawfiq Namulya, has joined the leaders of other non-governmental organizations on a one-day special training provided by the Hakirasilimali institution regarding the extractive industry (Mining, Oil and Gas) against climate change. This training was held yesterday on November 7, 2023 at the Vizano hotel in Dodoma, Tanzania.

PRESIDENT SAMIA TO VISIT MTWARA AND LINDI

The President of the United Republic of Tanzania Honorable Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan expects to visit the regions of Mtwara and Lindi from 15 to 20 September 2023. During the visit, Honorable Dr. Samia will inspect and visit various development projects implemented by the Government.

RSEEO MET WITH NOYAA COMPANY LIMITED FOR SPECIAL DISCUSSIONS

Executive Chairman of Ruangwa Social Economic Empowerment Organization (RSEEO) Mr Tawfiq Namulya, on 8 September 2023, met and held a special conversation with the Director of Noyaa Company Limited who is also the owner of Hogo Resources Limited Mr. Yahaya Haji. This conversation took place at the offices of the RSEEO in Ruangwa town. Among the things that were discussed was to develop and strengthen the existing relationship between RSEEO and the company. Noyaa Company Limited is involved in the mining, purchase and sale of various minerals. This is the second meeting between the RSEEO and the company after the first meeting held at the end of last year (2022) at the company's small offices located in Ruangwa town.

RSEEO WITNESSED THE SIGNING OF THE BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT BETWEEN TENDEGURU AND DONRESOURCES

Ruangwa Social Economic Empowerment Organization (RSEEO), today 24 July 2023, has witnessed the signing of BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENTS(BPA) between TENDEGURU BCM and DON RESOURCES LIMITED. This important and historic exercise has been held at the offices of the Organization in Ruangwa town. The implementation of the agreement will take place within Ruangwa District, Lindi region and Tanzania in general. The side of Tendeguru BCM was represented by Mr. Bakari Chinawa, and the side of DON RESOURCES LIMITED was represented by Mr. Raffih Ismail.

MINING AND INVESTMENT EXHIBITION LINDI REGION 21-26 AUGUST 2023

The office of the governor of Lindi region cordially welcomes domestic and foreign investors, government leaders, non-governmental organizations, businessmen, mining stakeholders, ambassadors, technology experts, service providers and development enthusiasts in general to participate in the First Mining and Business Fair in Lindi Region, which will be held on 21 - 26 August 2023 in Ruangwa in Lindi region, Tanzania. The motto of this exhibition is: "Invest Lindi for Economic Growth and Community Development"

RSEEO PARTICIPATED IN LINDI NGOs FORUM 24 JUNE 2023

Ruangwa Social Economic Empowerment Organization (RSEEO), today 24 June 2023, participated in the General Meeting of Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) at the Regional level. The official guest at the meeting was the Regional Commissioner of Lindi who was represented by Lindi District Commissioner, Honorable Shaibu Ndemanga. Along with other things raised and discussed by the participants of the meeting, including the policy and guidelines of non-governmental organizations in Tanzania.

RSEEO MANAGEMENT HAS STARTED RECIEVING A THREE DAYS TRAINING PROGRAM FOR CAPACITY BUILDING

The leadership of Ruangwa Social economic empowerment Organization (RSEEO), today on June 16, 2023, has started receiving a three days special training from Agzone Projects Consultants. These trainings along with other things, leaders of the Organization will learn the management skills, strategic plan, road map and fund raising/donors identification both local and international level.

RSEEO MEET AND DISCUSS WITH KUDU GRAPHITE LIMITED

Ruangwa Social Economic Empowerment Organization (RSEEO), today 30 May 2023, met and held talks with Kudu Graphite Limited. The talks were held at the office of Kudu Graphite Limited in Ruangwa District.The meeting consisted of Mr Mussa Mhagama from Kudu Graphite Limited, RSEEO Management and Mr Charles Tamba, Community Development Officer from Ruangwa District Council. Among the things discussed, there are Local Content issues. The organization has also had the opportunity to build understanding about the Kudu Graphite Limited which is the parent company created by the Government of the United Republic of Tanzania and the Evolution Energy Minerals Limited to manage and run the Chilalo Graphite Project located in Ruangwa District, Lindi.

RSEEO BUILT CAPACITY FOR LEADERS OF STRATEGIC ECONOMIC GROUPS IN RUANGWA DISTRICT

Ruangwa Social Economic Empowerment Organization (RSEEO), today, 25 May 2023, has given a seminar to leaders of strategic economic groups in Ruangwa district. The seminar was held at the Organization's offices in Ruangwa town. Among other things, the leaders of those groups have been specially trained about the Ruangwa local content database and its importance, and how to prepare to receive great economic opportunities resulting from investment activities that are expected to officially start at any time this year within the Ruangwa District. Leaders who attended the seminar are from Wanamadini Group Ruangwa, MAU, Ruangwa Labor based Group, MAO, Wanaruangwa Materials Group, MAGRU, and Green Make Shine.

LAUNCH OF RUANGWA LOCAL CONTENT DATABASE IS UNDER WAY

The Ruangwa Social Economic Empowerment Organization (RSEEO), anytime before the end of May 2023, expects to officially launch the Ruangwa Local Content Database. The action comes after the completion of the exercise of importing information of local service providers, local workforce, and local entrepreneurs in Ruangwa on a special digital system.

RSEEO HAS SUCCESSFULLY ESTABLISHED RUANGWA LOCAL CONTENT DATABASE

Ruangwa Social Economic Empowerment Organization in collaboration with the Ruangwa District Council, has succeeded in establishing the Ruangwa Local Content Database as part of the implementation of the Citizens' Economic Empowerment Policy, and put it on the Organization's website so that it can be accessed and used by various stakeholders in the development of the Ruangwa District. Ruangwa who are inside and outside the District. The data includes indigenous service providers, indigenous experts, and indigenous entrepreneurs in Ruangwa.

THE CHAIRMAN OF RSEEO ATTENDS THE SESSION OF LEADERS OF NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS RUANGWA

Chairman of Ruangwa Social Economic Empowerment Organization (RSEEO), Mr. Tawfiq Namulya participated in a meeting of leaders of Ruangwa Non-Governmental Organizations. Among other things, he presented information on the implementation of the Organization's activities for the period from July 2022 to April 2023, at the meeting of the Leaders of Non-Governmental Organizations held today 11 May 2023 at the Ruangwa District Council office.

MEETING OF LEADERS OF NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANIZATIONS RUANGWA, HELD WITH GREAT SUCCESS

On 11 May 2023, the leaders of Non-Governmental Organizations Ruangwa have held a joint meeting, to discuss various matters related to the activities of the Partner in order to make their work more efficient, where the official guest was the Assistant Registrar of Non-Governmental Organizations at the District level Honorable Rashidi Namkulala who was accompanied by the coordinator of the Partner at the District level Mr Charles Tamba. Among other things, the leaders had the opportunity to share skills and knowledge, and various methods of running various programs within the Organizations. This session has also been used as part of the preparations for the annual general meeting of Non-Governmental Organizations at the District level.

RSEEO LAUNCHES CITIZENS' ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT ACTIVITIES IN SIX WARDS OF RUANGWA DISTRICT

Ruangwa Economic Empowerment Organization (RSEEO) has officially launched its economic empowerment activities in the six wards of Narungombe, Mbwemkuru, Chunyu, Matambarale, Mbekenyera, and Nambilanje. This launch has been done through public meetings held at different times in the villages of Nangurugai, Matambarale, Mtondo, and Nambilanje in March 2023. .
